At LiveIntent, we're big fans of clouds: everything from the portentious spectacle of the Cumulonimbus, to the ephemeral beauty of the Cirrostratus. But our favorite type of cloud is much rarer than even the seldom-seen mammatus: The marketing cloud.
In addition to being rare, marketing clouds are really good at stuff that other clouds aren't, like people-based marketing and managing customer segments. We're partnered with a few of these clouds, including the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. That means that brands can seamlessly reach their customer segments stored in the SFMC across LiveIntent's inventory.
We recently got a chance to talk to Liam Doyle, VP of Ad Products at Salesforce, about the state of the industry, email, people-based marketing, and what the concept of "Identity" means for marketers.
